FLEXIBLE BRAIDED CONNECTION

Vass manufactures flexible braided links for connecting our Busway to Switchboards or transformers.

These links can be used to connect any items of electrical machinery and may be purchased as a separate item.

Connections of this type help to reduce the stress on insulators and transmission of vibrations from one item of machinery to another.

The cross sectional area of the flexible braided links is based on that of the phase conductors in the totally enclosed Vass Electrobar H-Series Busway.

The standard length is 350MM (150MM of free braid). Special lengths in increments of 25MM can be made to order. Note that where the length is excessive additional surge bracing may be required.

Whilst the palms are provided with no connection holes as standard, they can be supplied with one or both palms pre-drilled as an option.
